Latest news about engine emissions
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
You might have heard in the news recently that the Volkswagen Group is intensively pursuing an investigation into irregularities in the software used in some diesel engines.
Starting from June 2016 we have been launching the Service Campaign itself. Our goal was to release all software versions in several waves by the end of 2016.
The technical measures have been developed for all affected ŠKODA vehicles and have been presented to the Vehicle Certification Agency of the United Kingdom. Currently we are in close contact with the British authorities and we expect to be able to start the implementation of the technical measure for the remaining customers soon.
To determine if the software affected by the irregularities has been installed in your vehicle, please visit your ŠKODA authorized partner, call your regional ŠKODA Diesel-Hotline, or complete an instant online inquiry at ŠKODA Diesel Campaign app.
As soon as software version for your car is available you will receive an invitation to make an appointment with an authorized ŠKODA partner.
We would like to assure you that the trust of our customers and the public is and will remain our most important asset. We deeply regret that this situation has arisen. The important thing for our customers to know is that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy. We take full responsibility for the costs of the implementation of the necessary technical measures.
Thank you for your understanding.
Please note: we can only give information about ŠKODA.
